We're gearing up for the annual BTX Honey Tour Bike Ride, a cycling event that winds through the picturesque landscapes of rural Johnson County, Texas. The next event is on May 25, 2024 and we're calling on community members to volunteer and help make this event a huge success. Whether you're a cycling enthusiast, love being part of community events, or simply want to lend a hand, there's a role for everyone!
Volunteer Opportunities
Day Before Race Set Up: Bring your energy and help set up tents, unload food trucks, assist vendors, and other tasks the day before the event.
Registration: Be the first smiling face participants see! Help with registration and ensure all riders are ready for their journey.
Rest Stop Hosts: Set up 1 of 7 points where riders can recharge. Your role is crucial in keeping everyone energized and hydrated. You will pick up everything you need for your rest stop the day before.
Route Corners: Be the guardian angel for the riders and help guide them which way to go when it comes to turns and intersections.
Finish Line: Be part of the celebration at the end of the ride, cheering and congratulating participants. Hand out food and water bottles. Help clean up.
Cleanup Crew: Post-event heroes, we need you to help return Burleson Centennial High School to its pristine condition.
Photographers/Videographers: Capture the spirit of the event – we'd love to see your creative perspective.
