Laurel Land Memorial Park – Ft. Worth was originally opened as Park Lawn Cemetery with just 25 acres in the early 1920s. The Widner/Roberts family purchased the cemetery in 1942 and created the Widner private family mausoleum, which is still owned by the Widner family. The park was purchased by Stewart Enterprises Inc. in 1986, and is today owned by an affiliate of Service Corporation International. Of the cemetery’s nearly 150 acres today, 49 have not yet been developed, allowing for the cemetery to serve families of the Ft. Worth area well into the future. Laurel Land is a perpetual care cemetery.
The well-maintained cemetery grounds offer visitors a serene haven for reflection and remembrance. Laurel Land Memorial Park – Ft. Worth offers many choices for memorialization, including traditional ground burial, indoor or outdoor mausoleum entombment and private family estates.
The cemetery features picturesque lawns and gardens including two veterans areas and the Garden of Reflections. The Chapel of the Chimes, a chapel commemorating the freedom of the press, is also on the grounds of the cemetery and is a replica of St. Paul’s Church in Mount Vernon, New York. It originally was a crematorium and chapel, and was refurbished in 1992 for use solely as a chapel.

Texas Health Huguley Hospital, located on I-35W in south Fort Worth, includes a 223-bed acute care hospital, two intensive care units, progressive care unit, open heart surgery center, behavioral health center and emergency department available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. More than 350 primary care and specialty physicians provide a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services.
Texas Health Huguley’s 16-bed intensive care unit for patients with medical care and respiratory needs and the 12-bed intensive care unit concentrating on cardiovascular patients are staffed by intensively trained critical care nurses. A 4-bed dialysis center is available for renal patients with critical needs.
Established in September 2007 with 2 primary care and 2 specialty physicians, Huguley Medical Associates currently has 23 physicians focusing on primary care, OB/GYN, rheumatology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, general surgery, and plastic surgery.
Huguley Medical Associates is a non-profit, wholly owned subsidiary of Texas Health Huguley Hospital Fort Worth South. We offer primary care clinics in the communities surrounding Texas Health Huguley, as well as a variety of offices on the Huguley campus. Our patients can expect to receive excellent medical care, delivered with respect and compassion in convenient locations.
