The Chamber’s purpose and goals are defined and guided by leaders from within the organization and the community. The role of the Board of Directors is to ensure the Chamber adheres to its mission of serving as an advocate for its members and for business in Burleson.
Directors are elected annually by the membership for three year terms on a rotating basis, with fifteen elected Board members serving the Chamber at all times. Additionally, four Ex-Officio Directors represent the City of Burleson, the Burleson Police Department, Burleson ISD, and the city’s secondary education institutions.
The Board elects an Executive Committee from within the current Directorship, consisting of the Chairman, Chair Elect, Vice Chair, Secretary, Treasurer, and Past Chair.
