Burleson Mayor Ken Shetter will present this popular annual address at the Chamber’s Winter Quarterly Meeting beginning at 11:30 a.m. at Victory Family Church. Members and community leaders will learn about Burleson’s most recent accomplishments and our city’s continued plans for future success. Members will hear about the beneficial impact of growth in our city.
Mayor Shetter will speak about more than the latest news, sharing his vision to maintain the Burleson lifestyle that appeals to current residents and the newcomers to our community. A closely-held goal of our city leaders is the continued deliberate pursuit to build the best city in the state for business and for families.
Ken Shetter was elected Mayor in June 2004 during his second term on Burleson’s City Council. Born and raised in Burleson, he holds an undergraduate and law degree from Baylor University and a Master degree from the American University in Washington D.C. In addition to serving as Mayor of Burleson, Shetter is the President of One Safe Place, a non-profit corporation which develops and supports effective crime prevention and crime reduction programs and provides a framework for collaboration among Tarrant County’s public safety and crime prevention network.
