The Chamber’s website, burlesonchamber.com, offers every member a unique landing page specific to their business. The Chamber has already included Chamber member’s company basic information, including their business location on Google maps. Landing pages can be personalized with logos, photos and content.
This summer, the Chamber has hired an intern, Bryan Surratt, who will enter his senior year at Texas Tech University this fall to complete a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. He has been hired to update chamber member’s website landing pages and contact members to help with the process of claiming and editing their information on our website.
Bryan has already began updating landing pages with company logos and descriptions, however, each member is able to create a login to claim and then personalize their business listing with up-to-date sales or product information, new employees, special events… anything pertaining to their Chamber business. Our only limitation is that content be limited to information that pertains to the Chamber business. Look for an email from Bryan in the coming weeks with steps on how to claim and customize your landing page!
Why should you update your landing page? Digital Marketing experts state the more links to your website, the higher your ranking can be in Google analytics, particularly if you are linked to a very active website like www.burlesonchamber.com. Our Chamber members who have already created their landing pages enjoy more website visits and hits than those who have a standard page without much content. Find your landing page by visiting burlesonchamber.com and searching our interactive Member Directory. Have questions? Bryan will be working at the Chamber through mid-July. If you have questions, please contact Bryan at 817-295-6121 between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
